BG1 vs BG1 Pro

These two large scrubber dryers are nearly identical. Same chassis, same cleaning system, same tanks, same coverage, same battery. Only two things change between them, and being straight about that is the point of this page.

The only two differences

  • Cruise speed: the BG1 Pro runs up to 1.2 m/s, the BG1 up to 1.0 m/s. The Pro finishes large floors a little sooner.
  • Navigation: the BG1 Pro adds 3D LiDAR on top of 3D VSLAM fusion for vehicle aware navigation, while the BG1 uses LiDAR with 3D VSLAM fusion. The Pro is the better fit around forklifts and vehicle traffic.

Everything else in the table below is the same on both machines.

Choose the BG1 if

  • Your floors are standard open commercial or industrial space, where a 1.0 m/s cruise speed and LiDAR with 3D VSLAM navigation are plenty.
  • You want the lower price for the same cleaning system, tanks, and coverage.

Choose the BG1 Pro if

  • You want the faster 1.2 m/s cruise speed to finish larger floors sooner.
  • You run in areas with vehicle traffic or complex layouts, where the added vehicle aware 3D LiDAR navigation helps.
